Anyone run a 24" rear wheel on a Stinky?

I will be getting a '07 Stinky D-lux over the winter and I was just wondering if it would help rake it out for DH. I have a 24" double wide rim just chillin' in my room and I want to use it for something.

Don't do it. Even if it would drop/slacken it, 24" wheels suck for DH 'cause they don't roll over stuff well and it may put more stress on the HT than the bike's designed for due to the slacker HA.

Been toying with the idea for my Stinky also, I think with a 3" tire it would roll well enough, not sure if it would feel "strange" in tight turns though?

The Stinky is already slack as hell with something like a 64 degree HA. If you throw a 24" wheel you'll have a pretty killer turning radius and speed.

And by killer I mean "you'll want to kill yourself by swallowing a knife".

I run a 24" rear on my VP Free. It's fine for DH.
