5.10 Impact low vs Sam Hill

I know there's little difference between the impact low and Sam Hill, just wanted to hear from anyone that's owned both as to whether one's better than the other. The Sam Hill is cut a bit lower, and should breath better? Are these differences noticeable?

Love the lace system on the Hills over the Impacts.....flat laces FTW.

I own both and find the Hills easier to tighten, loosen and the flat laces don't need a double knot to stay tied for the day.

You obviously don't own both shoes.

The cut around the ankle is different
    the padding is different
    lacing is different
the look and layout of the material is different
    color is different.
the weight is different. Sam Hills are actually a ton(ok 1/3 of a pound) lighter then the Impact lows.

I would say the soles are the same and the fact that they both say 5.10s...and on those points then yes you would be correct.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I know the sole is the sale s1 stealth rubber which I love. SOunds like the sam hill may be better than my old impacts. I'll probably give them a try.
