indeed. very good for me as well. I had a 2010 as well and this feels like the 2010 boxxers should have felt.

new forks come with 3 springs, so it shouldn't be a problem to tune it, but I'm about the same weight and the stock (red) spring works well with 2 preload spacers.

when you get it, check the bath oil. lots of them are low or dry (mine was way low). other than that, it should be butter.

Just wanted to give a feedback on the fork so far. I have about 10 hours on it, and its broken it now.

Low/high speed adjustments work very well and respond to input. The stock out of the box "red" spring works well for me, im 190 geared up, spring calls for max 180. Seeing about 25-28% sag on the fork. Been using abot 7" on average each run.

I have found that the 2010 Tuning guide works somewhat well. Havent found much info for the 2011 tuning guide if RockShox even made one. The rebound settings are off though, although I've heard the 11's vs the 10's had some different rebound characteristics.

Been running 14 clicks on beginning/ending stroke rebound and 3 clicks on low speed compression, 5 on high speed compression, and 2.5 turns on bottom out. Seems to cover about everything I need right now. I make some adjustments when its wet and muddy and keep it more glued.

    No complaints so far

The 2010 R2D2 model is much better.
