you missed the point kid. working a **** load of hours, and biking when you can takes on a whole new meaning to the "working man". spending that much coin at once better be worth it!

Also note that they called the Shore SERIES the "working mans freeride bike", this would include the $1785 Shore 3.
    I am a Shore owner, a $3000 2, working class YUP.

    huh??

"The Norco Shore Series continues to be one of the best working manís freeride bikes. It is getting better every year and most importantly, it is remaining a confidence inspiring and fun bike to ride."

    .......

"A quick note on the Shore Three. This year the frame has been kept simple with non hydroformed tubes to keep the price down and the affordability high. With an MSRP of $1,785 this bike is great for a beginner or infrequent freerider."

There ya go, read carefully. 4500 bucks for Shore One and 1785 for Shore Three, all of them in the Shore series which apparently is a "working man's freeride bike line".

Some hate here for the Freeride options, but, holy cow, $2,700 for the entry level DH bike? Seems like a smokin' deal to me.

Didn't they just bring out those **** looking curvy things, and now they've changed them again?

    Wow. Designs that endure.
