2006 GT it1, Worth my time?

I was made an offer for a 2006 GT iT1 for my old car. What is a bike like this worth and is it even a decent bike anymore? Its quite a tank at 48 pounds. I know nothing about downhill bikes but wouldn't mind getting into it.

It has a bit of value as a curiosity, but to actually live with and ride on a regular basis, no, heavy old bike with average geometry.

I don't really know the details on the bike as I was not very interested but I can get you in contact with him if you are interested. He's located in Minneapolis.
