1993 rock shox mag 21 oil change

I am changing the oil in my rock shox mag 21 and my question is will it be ok to completely submerge the adjuster rod in oil as stated in the manual? Thanks.

if it's stated in the manual as the correct thing to do, i'd then assume that it'd be fine to do so.
Consequences dictate our course of action and it doesn't matter what's right. It's only wrong if you get caught.

And you are asking about this on the DH/FR board because..................................?

15mm is a second-best solution to a problem that was already solved.
