Took my first and, so far, my only high speed crash on my bike.
The bike hit so hard the bump stop on the fork actually dented the hell out of my bike (though these have dented the bike since the day I got it and GT wont acknowledge it.) and bent the fork.
Is GT telling me this is a one time use bike? Disposable camera status?
Anyhow, anyone have problems with dual crown forks denting the frame upon hard hits? And as for the fork being bent - is it typically just the upper and lower clamps that bend? Fork operates fine, but is slightly off.
Also, I am having the hardest time trying to find a rear derailleur hanger for this thing! I've tried all the popular websites, contacted my LBS as well as others and they can't give me a answer, muchless a direction to take.
I've contacted the GTRep here on MTBR - we'll see if he responds.
Does anyone have any input? It's been over a month since I've rode my bike and I'm about to freak!!!
