    '05 Dorado MRD X-Works??? SPV or TPC+?

The Answer/Manitou '05 catalog has the MRD X-Works specs say SPV Evolve but the picture shows no SPV stickers yet Jenson says it has TPC+. Which is it for sure?

    Wink Dorado

I suspect that the manitou would be more accurate. Though If I had the coice of SPV or TPC i'd go for the latter.

The X-Works will have SPV. It would make no sense for manitou's flagship model to have the older technology.

Yea but supposedly a bunch of the Dorados were blowing up last year so they had changed it. I guess the only way to find out is to call the Manitou themselves.

initially Answer was planning to produce the 2005 X works as the "Dorado 200" with TPC+ damping.
about a week before eurobike they changed their minds!
and on Eurobike i got the info that answer will spec the 2005 Xworks with what they call SPV evolve!
which basically should be a working SPV system.

    lets wait and see!
whether it really will work that is

888 works should be quite pimping.

Why yes it would be. But the question is, what would the HT angle be with one on a new v-10?

buy the 888r and get some lowrider crowns with it.

2005 Marzocchi offers lower crowns for a surcharge of only 125 USD.
at least thats what i read somewhere, better confirm that with them, or your shop.

a friend of mine uses the Risse crowns and is quite happy with them.

finally there are the Go-ride Crowns which also look good, but i know nobody who rides them.
as far as i know Go-ride offers a good deal for the crowns if you buy them together with a 888

I have had the 04 and 05 slider. I love the new evolve. I hate the old SPV. Trust me, I should know. Try sending it in 3 times. Lame. But seriously, I raced Mammoth on it w/ Evolve and love it still. I think the X-works has evolve which should be sweet. Also, my friend talked to Manitou and they said it's pretty much TPC + w/ the air chamber. It's just as supple, trust me. But the 888 is still sweet.
