I wouldn't think who does the assembly matters. AFAIK bikes shipped are pretty much already assembled, just minor things like putting on the wheels, saddle, and stem.
If you do not have a Diamondback dealer nearby, I would call and verify.

Only going to work a half day today so I can get my bike....

No, it matters. Lots of warranties state that it has to be performed by a qualified mechanic. It's vague, but gives them an "out" if you build a bike yourself and then something fails.

One thing to note. Calipers are Promax instead of the Tektro the website specs. Not an issue 'cause they're pretty much the same.
May even be better. I didn't care for the tektro on my old bike and I have a brand new set of BB7's on hand

From what I have seen online and heard from people they are pretty equal as far as quality and stopping power. But I have heard from a few people that they think the promax brakes were better in their opinion.

I'd say they're on par with each other, which isn't saying a lot. A target Schwinn I had a couple years ago came with pro-max brakes, and for all intents and purpose, they stopped my fat a$$ pretty well. I used them for a couple years. Sold the bike, got one with some Tektros, pretty much the same. Now I'm running Avid BB7 and I'll never go back to Tektros on my mountain bike. Hybrid bike, good enough.

So far they are OK. Haven't done any mad decents yet so really just broke them in. Time will tell.
