So, I took the knucklebox linkage out of my bike to do a little winter cleaning and everything went well...
untill I went to reinstall everything. Then to my horror, the head for one side of the main pivot bolt shears off while tightening.
what I want to know is does anyone know where I could source pivot bolts? I've called Diamondback directly previously in regards to another matter, and lets just say that the customer service that I received REALLY makes me not want to call them again.
could I use a high grade hardware store bolt, provided that the length of the screw and the thread pitch are the same as the original?
EDIT: forgot to mention that the frame is an 07 mission
