    Scapegoat Sizing (Current Mission Owner)

    Hey Guys,

So as the title says, I'm just looking for a little feedback on frame size. I currently ride a 2011 Mission in a Medium. I'm just shy of 5'11" and the bike fits great. I do have to run the seat pretty high. I'm Running an 85mm Easton Haven Stem.

I'm looking at upgrading to a new Scapegoat. I want something that can hit the lifts, just as well as the trails. Being that the Goat is specd with a 30mm stem, I think that If I went with a medium frame again, I'd be way to cramped. The extra inch in the top tube is compensated by the much shorter stem (and then some) Also, having a slighter longer wheelbase will help on the Downhill.

Unfortunately I don't have the option to sit on one first. Basically just looking for some feedback to convince me otherwise.

Go large frame. Correct the longer frame will stabilize the ride on the way down.

I have my Scapegoat built up as a short travel DH bike. Marz 66 fork works super well at 180mm of travel, love the bike. Very solid.
