    Response into comfort bike?

I have a few diamondbacks..I have a 2012 db trace comp, 09 response comp, and two 07 responses. I wanna turn one of them into a comfort bike. I dont always wanna ride hunched over, so i wanted a bike i can ride rail trails and pavement relaxed. I got the trace if I wanted to rip through them. ( great bike!) Anyone have any ideas? Can I put 700 cc wheels on the 07 response? What about stem and stuff? Any ideas would be great.
I like to ride my bike.

the trace is a 29er, why don't you put 700c wheels on that? Do these all have disc brakes? if you want something more road friendly and any of them have v brakes I would go with that bike as it's probably easier to get a set of road wheels. You may need to swap around spacers in the rear axle of a road wheel so that you can properly fit the 135 rear spacing with a 700c road wheel.
