    Raleigh Mountain Sport m80

Today I saw and test drove a 2005 Raleigh Mountain Sport m80. If you guys know anything about this bike I would appreciate the feedback. It was $650 and had good components on it. The shifters and gears were XT, the hubs were shimano. The shocks were ShockRock (I beleive).

I cant seem to find this exact model anywhere on the web. I only find m80. Funny thing is the bike i saw had Mountain sport m80 on it. The ones i find on the web are M80 from the same year[2005], but not mountain sport. Is the Mountain sport a special model. Is it a different price from the regular m80? Plus the one i saw in person does not have disc brakes but can be converted to it. Furthermore, the components on the bike I saw were higher level, xt vs. deore on the web version. My strongest concern is that it was $550 brand new on the web while the store own tells me he marked his down to $650 from $750. Boy is this confusing! Someone please clarify. Thank You.

    m80

I have the Raleigh M80. im not sure if it is the sport or not, but it has manitou shocks on it. with shimano and deore components. I have had only 2 problems; the stock pedals bearings broke, and the stock manitou shocks are sometimes hard, and sometimes soft on the weather. But otherwise, this bike is awesome, very strong, the disc brakes are very good, especially in dirt and water on them. I hope you found this helpful. i can post some pics too

    Shocks?

As in FS? I have an 2005 M80. It's a hardtail. Did they make the M80 in FS? Mine also came with Shimano/Deore components, but it has a RockShox Judy TT.
    Trust me, I'm lying.
