Yeah, it's a large frame (I'm a little under 6ft). It's got that extra peice on the seat tube, but a gap at the head tube also.

2009 Diamondback Response. Got it today on craigslist for $40. Just bought this to flip it. Came with a bent rear wheel though I think it can be trued out. In the mean time, I cleaned and lubed her up and put a spare wheelset on that has a bit smoother tires. Feels pretty good on level ground... that Spinner fork is a bit wonky though. Could use a new chain and about 10 various bolts that are a bit rusted. Other than that, hard to go wrong for $40.

Yep, I think for $40 you did really well on that purchase.

Don't know if I posted my bike. Got it on clearence at Dick's since it's last years model 09 Response Sport. Bike is amazing so far and is treating me great. I think I should have went to a 16" frame though instead of the 18"......I'm 5'9 130lbs ... After the bike the accessories start taking a toll on the wallet So worth it tho

Here is my DiamondBack craigslist steal of a build. Its a Topanga FS. I have swapped out about 85% of this bike. I am still using the original shifters, cassette and front derailleur. Everything else has been swapped out with performance and budget in mind.

And a big thanks to all the members who have posted pics of their old DBs that helped me decide where to put my new decals.

Here's my 95 Ascent EX ,pride and joy of the last 15+ years , before and after a recent clean up, and of course ,a glamour shot.

An update - now with SLX disc brakes

As always, a work in progress.
Just added the new disc brakes and Alex SX44 rims with XT hubs.

Still on the shopping list is a SLX crankset and external BB, XT pedals and new lock-on grips.

And I'm going to strip and polish or brush the frame.

Here is my '08 Response with mismatched rims and a few battle scars, but I have a question. Why is it spelled RESPONCE with a "C" on my bike. Is it a typo and my bike is worth thousands.....I wish!!

    2010 Mission 2

Took some photos the day I got the bike from Giantnerd about two months ago.

Everything is stock except I've since put on Oury lock-on grips and Sram X9 shifters. The wheels are pretty cheap so I'm going to get new ones soon. This is my first full suspension and it's good so far.

selling my like-new diamondback coil ss

I loved the disk brakes on this bike. It was replacing a similar one that was stolen from me when I purchased it, a few years back, but I haven't used it. It's a shame for it to collect dust and I want to get a hybrid more inline with the way I ride now. I've ridden it about 4 times and that's criminal! It was a little over $850 new and it's still basically new, just not the recent model.

It needs to go to someone who will use it Not a scratch on it-just a little dust.

Anyone interested or know anyone who might be?
