I've noticed on the 2011 overdrives they have a more aggressive top tube and head angle. Mine was the 2012 Overdrive comp and it wasn't as agressive, I wished they would've kept it with the aggressiveness for the trails. Upgraded the front fork to a Rockshox Recon Gold TK, Easton Haven Carbon bars and stem, cane creek headset. Bike is really all that for the money!

Here is my 2011 Overdrive. Nothing special in the way of upgrades, but I added a shorter Azonic stem, FSA bars, Avid Speed Dial 7 levers, and Jagwire cables and red housings. I atcually do not have any pictures of any of these, funny enough!

I have two Overdrives, and both have nothing stock except the frame.

    The 1X9 geared bike:

Easton EA50 stem, seatpost, and handlebars
    WTB Silverado Seat
    Lizard Skins lock-on grips
Cane Creek 110 headset in red
    Fox F29 RLC fork
LX cranks with 32T Salsa SS ring and BBG bash guard
    XT rear derailleur
    SRAM PG 990 11-34 cassette
    Jagwire cables with red housing
    Hayes Stroker Trail disc brakes
Red Industry 9 hubs laced to Stan's Arch rims
    Kenda Slant Six tires 29 X 2.2

    The single speed bike:

Easton EA50 stem, seatpost, and handlebars
    WTB Silverado Seat
    Lizard Skins lock-on grips
    Cane Creek 110 headset
    RockShox Reba Race
    Truvativ Stylo cranks
    Surly Singelator chain tensioner
    Avid Juicy 5 dic brakes
Red Industry 9 single speed hubs laced to Stan's Arch rims
    Kenda Karma tires 29 X 2.2

I really like the Overdrive. That must be why I have two.

That black one is sweet, you really tricked it out, seems really light too. How do you like the 1X9?

Thank you. It weighs in a little over 24 pounds, which is pretty good for an XL frame.

I really like the 1X9. I found that I never used the small ring, so it came off first. When I realized that I rarely used the big ring, I decided to go 1X9. As long as you use a single speed specific ring on the front and take a few links out of the chain, it works really well.

I'm really starting to prefer the single speed though.

TheMutt, I am interested in the parts you used to do your 1x9 set up. I am looking to either do that or a 2x9, and need a parts list. I know nothing about this. PM me if you like. Thank you!
