    New Fork Options

My 06 Diamondback Response Sport currently has a stripped fork where the steering tube is pressed into the crown. I'm trying to find a decent replacement for it that won't break the bank, I've looked at the classifieds but I'm pretty much a newb so I don't know which would work with my response. It is 100% stock besides the pedals.

The specs you need are 100-140mm travel, 1 1/8 steer tube, 9mm QR axle, and 26" wheel compatible. Also make sure the fork has the right brake mounts (rim or disc). The fork you posted should work if you have disc brakes (I don't know what the '06 Response has stock)

I would recommend against anything made by RST or Suntour if you plan to do any serious trail riding. Something like a Rockshox Tora, Sektor, or Recon would be much better if you can find one in your price range.
