    Mission or Scapegoat?

Looking to upgrade from my Santa Cruz Nickel and looking at the Mission and the Scapegoat. I'm outriding it at the park/freeride stuff I'm doing, but would likely strip the Nickel so I wouldn't have two bikes right now.

The frame set on Scapegoat comes with a Fox DHX Air 5.0 Rear Shock with Kashima Coat and regular seatpost. The Mission comes with an RP23 but a Reverb seat post for $80 more. I would put a Domain or Lyric on either of them. Your thought on the shock versus price? Is the Scapegoat going to be a pig climbing up the hills or pedaling through singletrack? Thanks!

Go with the Goat. It has a burlier downtube for freeriding than the mission plus the DHX. That being said I ride my '07 mission at the park once a week in the summer. She's still going strong but I ride real smooth, don't hit drops more than 3' and had the stock float R "Pushed." When I break it I'll be getting the Goat frame to replace it.
