I just picked my Mission 4 up. With reflectors it came in at 34.4 lbs. Size large.

    My custom mission

    2008 frame
Magura Thor Fork (this is a remarkably light 140mm fork)
    Mavic 819 wheels
    2.35 tires
    Xt/XTR 8sp drive train
    7" Hayes 9 bakes

Nothing is particularly light on this bike (Fork and Easton Monkey Lite Bars aside)

    31-32# depending on tires.

Could get it to ~30# with lighter seat/post, fr derailleur (XT FD760 is heavy), better brakes, lighter tires.

34.4? I thought it was lighter... but I think it`s a beautiful frame and I`m really interested on the 2011, great specs, anybody have information if it will be a lighter bike / frame? thanks.

That is light for a bad ass true am/fr bike IMO. Plus I get different weights from different scales ~1.5 lbs. I am sure the M4 could be ~33lbs with tire choice

There could certainly be some variance in the accuracy of the scale used, but thats what it said.

Nop, a guy was selling it on pinkbike...

I really want to place an order for this bike but I neeed to know how much it weights and when is going to be available. A dealer told me that in the beginnings of september is going to have "some information" about it. Must be because of the SRAM 2011 line delay.

The other doubt I have, the 2011 mission 4 brings a 2011 Fox 36 TALAS fork? because the 2011 have "NEW TALAS [2-position] 160-120" (plus kashima coat) and not "160/130/100MM" adjustment. It sounds more like the 2010 TALAS.

Here's what I can tell you...

My 2008 Mission 3 frame (size Large) HS and seatpost (Easton EA50 ~300gr) weighs about 8.6lbs.

I think I read that the 2010 mission frames are ~1/2 # Less, So I'd guestimate a 2010 frame to be in the neighborhood of 7.5# w/o seatpost.

a lot of bike companies will have oem forks on thier bikes so it can be a little different then the aftermarket models.
