    2012 Lineup

The new DB lineup is wicked. The shop owners came back from the Suncadia meet with the new catalogs; I must say Diamondback is really stepping up their game for 2012. I won't go into detail but think stiffer Sorties, a ressurected road line, new paint schemes, a big wheel sortie, and Di2 compatible road line. Look for the new bikes at a dealer near you. Also Diamondback Podium in Campagnolo Super-Record 11speed. Holy hell. Also thanks for the DBR kit. Looks great in black and white. Wish I could have been there.

Thru-Axle Sortie....... Diamondback Mission specced with a dropper post.... Love the new bikes! Also color matched knuckleboxes and bars on the missions.

I know, I'm a dinosaur. I like 80mm forks (heck, I like 63mm forks), 26" wheels, and flat handlebars.... *old man voice* I hope you youngsters have fun on your new jallopies.

Fed-ex just dropped off my 2012 DB and Raleigh catalogs. New line ups look sweet, Sortie Black 29er, Podium road bikes, scapegoat, looks sweet. Raleigh has a Carbon frame 29er ht that's pretty sick as well.

Yes. 12x142 sorties and mission. Yes internally routed Carbon Revenios. Yes race carbon 29er hardtail. Carbon podiums that are Di2 compatible. Mission framesets. Mission completes with Reverb droppers.

I really wish I could check out the new mission lineup. I just placed my order for a 11' Mission 1. I hear the 2012's wont be available to order until late september early october.

I'm very interested in the Sortie 29, being a trail rider measuring 6'3", ~220llbs, and was so lucky as to briefly touch one recently.

    Here are the tasty bits:

-I've seen a place or two online that lists them at 100mm rear travel but the catalogs (which should be in at your LBS) and reps say 120mm (4.5").
-They seem run large as do Raleigh's Talus 29 series.
-Weighed in at 31lbs in a medium size frame, apologies but I can't remember if it was the Sortie 1 or 2 level component group.
    -Through-axles front and rear.
-Quite possibly my next ultimate all-mountain/trail bike.

My girlfriend has this year's Sortie 3 26" and loves it. Makes me want one! Solid bike.
