2010 Response needs Fork Upgrade suggestions

My Response has a Spinner Edge AL-1 120mm travel, 30mm stanchions. I want to upgrade at around 300 bucks.

    What do you guys recommend?
What travel range does the frame allow without damaging it?

    Thanks

Rock Shox Recon Siver. Check Pricepoint, I bought 1 for $161 shipped. Cheapest air fork I have found & it gets real good reviews.

I ended up getting a used Rockshox Recon ST. I only wish I would of gotten an upgrade sooner. Great fork.

That Spinner Edge is there for looks only, stupid me put fork oil in the "damping" side till i realized there was NO DAMPING !!!!!

So I got wize brother and got a Rockshox XC 32 TK and am totally loving it. Let me testify!!!

I was worried about the XC 32 only being 100mm since the Spinner was 120mm but no worries, bike rides better in my opinion.

Just getting back into mountain biking (motorcycle rider, what can I say?), and I was one of those poor saps that purchased a Diamondback Response XE from ***** Sporting Goods. I've already had to replace the cranks because they broke, and seeing as the front shocks are made by the same company (Suntour) I'm leaning hard towards going ahead and replacing the forks with RockShox. Any suggestions on which set? I'm just trail riding, no 10' drops but maybe a jump or two.

My Recon is still kicking Azz. Chewing up trails and taking some 4-5ft drops with no issues.
