    2008 Diamondback Response

Hi, I am looking for some advice on my used Diamondback Response I just purchased. I love the look of the bike and plan to keep it and upgrade some components. I am planning a trip to British Columbia to ride part of the Trans Canada Trail next year. I am just curious what parts I should look at upgrading for this trip as all the parts are original to the bike. I need new tires for sure, any suggestions? and , Should I think about upgrading anything else before I go on the trip as parts of the trail are fairly isolated? I am planning just a 2-3 day ride. I am really new to riding, so any info that you would be willing to share with me will be appreciated.

Hi, if you haven't already, I think you would have better luck posting this in the beginner forum. Good luck!
