** Assistance required with Diamondback Jump Pro 2003

I'm in need of some assistance. I am very new to the bike scene and recently purchased a secondhand Diamondback Jump Pro with the aim of stripping it down and rebuilding it for my partners son.

However,I cannot find any official reviews, catalogs, publications about these bikes save a few photos from private
    users when I Google it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This link is an example of the bike I bought (not actual bike however):

What kind of info are you looking for? It's just a "dirt jumper" style of bike. Are you wanting to return the bike to stock or strip it down and building it up with all nice new stuff?

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

the idea is to use nice new parts, but being new to this, I wanted to find out what the standard parts are so that I can read up on it.

Well using a "blanket statement", a bike is a bike. You could put any threaded bottom bracket on it, then pick a set of cranks, etc.

Bike components are very vanilla when ot comes to fitting. There's 2 different sized bottom bracket shells, and everything else from there is pretty interchangeable.

Do a little research on some dirt jump bike components and start picking.

There's also looking at the current dirt jumper model called the Assault to get some ideas. Although the new jumping bikes aren't geared.
