Django 29 rear suspension - too progressive ??

    Hi guys,
i have a Django 29 with a fox evol in the back and cant seem to find a good sweet spot with the suspension.i weigh around 220lbs and feel the rear is very harsh on rocky terrain.it feels like the rear is so progressive that i only use 80-100mm of the travel and am no where near full travel. only when setting the rear with about 40% + sag,it starts to work better, but than the geo changes and the bike is less snappy.

    any thoughts ??

    thanks !

I run 30-40 percent in the high BB setting with the shock open, it feels pretty awesome all around. however I am around 175# .

Curious if you came up with a solution? I'm also 220 and considering this bike. The BikeMag review harps on how much ramp up they seem to have built in, which made me think of this post. Running 40% sag seems unacceptable IMO.

I have been playing with volume reducers in mine and found with none the bike rides plush but the bottom out is harsher. With the biggest reducer the suspension is harsh but super snappy and can take hits better.

More rebound (slower) will make it feel more plush.
