    2015 Troy - Switching to a 1x

Thinking of swapping out my 2x10 system on my Troy for a 1x system.
Any thoughts on what would be the easiest and preferably most economical route. Any input, thoughts would be appreciated.

Are you looking to go wide range?

If yes zip then the Sunrace cassette is going to be the most economical solution. I have the 11-42 steel big cog option and it works well, but does drop the chain after a full back pedal. No outrageously effect on the trail, but can be annoying to some. My One Up 42t cog with the 16 tooth didn't do this if you already have a good compatible cassette (CT cassettes are great here).

I really liked my Absolute Black 64 BCD 30t chain ring. Not the cheapest, but had a great chain line if you have cranks that don't have a removable spider. Otherwise I would go with one of Sram's new cheap steel x-sync direct mount chainrings/spider and chainrings.

Yes, will need to go wide range
Current crank is the standard 2x Sram 1400, nothing fancy

Thanks for the input and ideas
