    Wheelset reccomendations

Hi. Im looking to upgrade the wheels on my Norco CCX. The stock wheels have been great but want something lighter. Im on a limited budget so can't afford anything too tricked out. The stock wheels are Alex Black Dragon rims on Formula cheapo hubs. Also, Im a clyde at 260lbs.

    Any reccomendations?

    Thanks

I'm curious about those Chinese carbon wheels shown on the neighboring Chinese carbon cx frames thread.

Chinese New Di2 Carbon Cyclocross frames, disc frame IP-105-D, V brake frame IP-105-V

I'm not real interested in carbon wheels. Looking for something more tried and true that will keep me rolling for years to come, in my mind Clyde`s and carbon don`t usually mix.

I really do like H+son rims. The two larger options in that particular brand are the TB14 and the Archetypes. I personally ride the Archetypes and really like their width. I do not have budget hubs, but you could always use some Novatec to save a few bucks.

Handspun 32h Velocity Major Toms laced to Shimano Ultegra. About $400, bomb proof reliability. Can't get much better for a highly usable no frills quality wheelset.

If you want clincher, go Velocity A23 in lieu of the tubular Major Toms.

I have disc brakes and 135mm spacing so the ultegra hubs are out.
