What Kool Stop Pads to get for mini V-brakes?

I'm looking for a pad for Mini V's for mostly dry conditions, aluminum rims. Looks like I have a few different choices. Any recommendations?

Salmon are good but they do leave a bit of residue on the braking surface if used in dry conditions. @ least that has been my experience using um on full sized v brakes. Try the black ones first and see how it goes. YMMV

That's weird because I've had superior results with the salmon pads and not the black ones in dry conditions.

Salmon compound. I like the thinline version to maximize pad-rim clearance for mud & grass.

I like the dual compound V's...salmon's on aluminum have been noisy for me.
