    Voodoo Limba

Anyone know anything about the Voodoo Limba? I am looking to get a frame for about $250 on Craigslist. Is that a good price? Anyone know about these for cyclocross? I ride a 54cm Cannondale road bike and I'm wondering if the 53-54cm Limba will be good. He's not sure of the size but from what he says it seems about like a 52-54cm bike.

    Thoughts?

    Hello

I had one for 13 years. I finally cracked the frame a few months ago. It was a nice. It's used? You might want to check what year it is. Mine had a 1" fork/headset.

Never used I believe. It is at least a 2009 from what I can tell.

i bought mine last year (drunk ebay purchase) and i love it.

its the scandium/carbon stays version. bought the frame only brand new for not much more than what you saw on craigslist. does pretty well for a race bike. since there isn't much online about the limbas, i would search ebay for an auction and see if they have a spec sheet in the item description. scope the top tube measurement and others and see how they match up against your can-o-ale. that is, if the one you're looking at is the scandium/carbon version. but i can't imagine the other model years being much different in specs.

maybe ask the seller to measure certain parts of the frame for you?

What is the tire clearance capability of this bad boy?

Mine (2000) had terrible tire clearance. The biggest tire that would fit was a Michelin Mud and it would cog instantly on muddy rides. I'm sure the newer scandium/carbon stays were improved.

Love mine, also similar to ktaylor15 it was an alcohol inspired *bay purchase for the frame, then wheels, then cranks, etc..

17lb's and change in SSCX format, mainly because of the beautiful but heavy crosscheck fork. Ride's like a dream but after noticing I can squeeze the down tube and not only feel but see it deform, has created a few nightmares. That and some older mtbr threads showing a few of these frames with completely sheared off head tubes.
