    Trek CrossRip Elite

I have a FS mountain bike and would like to have a second bike for short local road rides, paved rail trails and some trails that are stone dust and pavement,

I am about 210 pounds and thinking the Trek Cross Rip would be the best suited bike for my use and my size.

Is this bike the best suited for my use?

That was on my short list for similar use. Also check out the 2013 Jamis Nova Pro. Few hundred more with better components.

We just built one up and for the $ it is going to be a great value. Really glad Sora now has a secondary release lever, adds so much value to the Sora group.
