    Smile Tire & Wheel question

    Hello fellow bikers,
I am currently riding a fixie that i love to death, I used to do a lot of trail riding but dont have a mountain bike anymore. I thought about building up a mountain bike, but then I remembered about cyclocross. So my new idea is to possible get a cyclocross wheelset and just change out my tires when I hit the trails. I live in florida so all the trails are easy XC trails and my frame is steel so I'm pretty sure my bike could handle it, I would just like some advice from experienced cyclocross riders. Thank you all for your help and opinions!

I'm sure your fixie wheelset is strong enough, unless you just don't want to swap tires back and forth, in that case I would suggest something like ritchey speedmax cross tires, good on and off road. One consideration is whether or not your frame and fork can fit cross tires.
