three times my plans for a new bike have fell through . need help

my first plan was to get a trek cross rip.
but deal fell through and plan backfired.

my next plan was to buy last years jamis nova sport from online shop for 750.00 shipped. but shop went out of business, and i can't find another jamis dealer with same pricing.

    next i tried airborne clearance.
but they are sold out of my small size.

i need a 51.5 cm top tube frame bike.

which typically is around a 48cm labeled bike.

my goal is a disc brake based bike

    my budget is 750.00
if i can find another jamis dealer with same pricing.
i will buy the bike today

    Airborne Bicycles. Delta

That sucks! Sorry to hear you keep striking out.

Check ebay, I saw Sunday night a guy selling a Jamis Nova Sport for 600 with free shipping. Supposedly new, just didn't fit him right. Might be worth checking out.

    Try a bike without discs?

    or

Wait until next off season. You waited too long after the CX season to buy the discounted bikes IMO.

i own a bike without discs now.

    disc brakes are better.

i had to wait til my other bike sold to generate the funds.

i contacted everyone who had the bike i wanted.
    set up the deal
    and was ready to buy
then my bike finally sold last week.

that is when i discovered the jamis dealer went out of business.
and the other sellers no longer wanted to honor the price we originally agreed on.

it was not like i was just waiting around for the deal to fall through.

Looks like a jamis nova sport. 850 retail. Shimano sora components, lyra tektro discbrakes, weighs around 26 pounds. I just got one three weeks ago and I love it!

Nice! Glad to see you finally got the one you wanted! As they say, good things come to those who wait!

I kind of wish I had waited and looked around more...my bike is great, until it's time to stop....then I want to throw it out into traffic.
