    Soma Double Cross Disc

Figured I should post my finished ride on here. Lots of fun painting and making this ride all "mine." PPG paint custom color. Little but if pin striping and I think I got my simple, clean looking rig. Anyone else run a Soma?

Very nice! I just picked up a 2012 Soma DC that needs a drivetrain. I'm trying to find the parts on a limited budget, but hope to have something enjoyable and attractive to ride.

    Soma Double Cross Disc

Looks great! What are the tires and did you set them up tubeless?

Cyclocross race. Tubeless. Crest rims, Hope hubs. Little heavy, but reliable.

Owned a couple of um. Just wish theyd increase the length of the HT and give the TT some slope so you dont have to use a **** ton of spacers to reduce the seat-bar drop.

Agreed. Don't mind the spacers too much, but a little geo fix would be nice.

Yeah, i ran 110 x zero stems on all of um to reduce the number of spacers. But man, a taller HT and sloping TT could be a huge improvement YMMV.

Shameless plug: I have a Doublecross for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested, check my sig or do a quick search.

Regarding headtube length, my Soma has a longer headtube (+15mm) and a shorter seat tube (-~40mm) than my one size bigger Crosscheck. So, the Soma's top tube slopes slightly (vs. the CC's dead level tube), and I use less spacers. That's a good thing for me, since I run my bars about as high as I can.
