I'm looking for a bike to ride gravel and pavement when the trails here in KC are wet. I've ridden several and narrowed it down to the Cannondale Caadx, Trek Crossrip, and Niner RLT 9. Every bike has the 105 group set. They were ridden at three different locations and the Caadx and Trek frames seemed to absorb the road chatter better than the niner. Not sure if that is due to the location I rode the niner or not. Anyone have experience on the niner and at least one of the other two that could comment on ability of the above frames to absorb the bumps. The niner just felt a tad harsher and I'm open to others input in case it is primarily due to test ride location.
