    Looking to buy ?

Looking to buy a Cyclocross to ride on paved rail trails as well as stone dust pathways and want to spend no more than $1500 and want to have disc brakes. I am about 6'2" and about 220 lbs.

So far, I have found the Trek CrossRip Elite, the GTR CX Elite and the Specialized Tricross Sport Disc.

Being unfamiliar with these bikes and only seeing them online, it appears as though the tires are fairly thin and smooth. I know they cannot be ideal for both pavement and non pavement however I would like some advice as to what bike I should be looking at.
