I burned two lives over the weekend

I did my old man cyclocross race over the weekend. Good fun. The start was unfortunate as eight to ten guys crashed 10 feet in front of me. It looked like a Tour De France crash at nearly 30 miles an hour on a long straightaway. A guy broke his collarbone and there was lots of crying and misery post crash. Ouch! I lucked out.

I thought I would go out for a training ride yesterday and almost got nailed by a car doing 50 miles an hour after the butt head ran a red light. It could have ended me. Sheesh!

I am off today and think I will go mountain biking. Yowsers!

Mtn biking is safer than riding on the road in my opinion. There are trees in the woods and cars on the road. The cars swerve and veer and daydream.... The trees stay put.
