Felt F65X vs Giant TCX 1

Looking at purchasing my first cross bike. Being a Mtbr at heart I'm finding enjoyment on gravel road races and just the occasional ride on some dirt paths. So what would be the better choice on bikes. Both are about the same price range. One has disc vs canti's..

They both are good bikes. Since Similiar in price I would test both if you could and see which you like better. As far as the brakes I am still running cantis on both of my cross bikes. I have not found the need to change up anything as far as brakes go. I ride a lot of gravel and use them on several trails we have around here.

I have a Felt F15X and it rides very nicely. Extremely stiff chassis, great geometry, nice handling. I have basically only ridden disc brakes on all my bikes other than road bikes for the last 15 years, and I was a bit nervous going with the cantis on the Felt. Well, I wish I had gone with a cross bike running discs. The TRP cantis are just too inconsistent. I do also have a Marin Cortina cross with Avid Shorty 6 cantis, and those do work pretty well, so maybe the TRPs just suck.

Anyway, in the future I will only run discs.
