Cannondale CAADX vs. Foundry Harrow... Worth the extra $$$$

I'm looking at a Cannondale CAADX 105 model and the Foundry Harrow B3 (105 model). I would be upgrading the wheelset to NoTubes but wondering if the $500 price difference (foundry being $500 more than CAADX) is worth the extra dough?

    Thoughts? Reviews?

    Thanks!

I had the foundry harrow. Found the frame to be FAR better than my 2012 crux expert, especially off road. It stayed planted and centered far better. Less bouncy. I would by a harrow again in a heartbeat.

I can't comment on the Cannondale but my wife bought a Harrow B3 earlier this year and she loves it. I think the 15mm through axle is the way to go and I upgraded her to a Mavic Crossmax ST wheel set. Approx 20lb with pedals.

+$500 is getting you a thru-axle front end and carbon. The thru-axle setup is required if you are going to stick with discs. Maybe the Cannondale is thru-axle too and I don't see it.

Geometry is almost the same, so they'll ride about the same. I prefer aluminum, but that's me.

Sounds like its worth the extra dough after talking to a couple more places. Now I just have to wait for the bike to be back in stock! thanks

You might want to check on the specs of the Harrow for this fall. Apparently they are shipping them with QR forks rather than the 15mm through axle Whiskey 9 fork because of some production issue. For that reason the decided to put a deposit on a 2015 Norco Threshold instead (F/R through axles)
