2013 Sub-9 Death March (Indiana)

Online registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Sub-9 Death March!

Teams of two compete to be the first to reach a select list of historical cemeteries in and around the Hoosier National Forest. A digital picture in front of each cemetery sign will be proof of reaching the check-point. Teams will race to FIVE mandatory check-points, two of which will be drawn and announced the morning of the event. Check-points can be reached in any order, using any route!

The Sub-9 Death March offers four divisions:
Men's, Women's, Co-ed and Tandem

~ $80 (per team) Early Bird Registration - now through January 31
~ $100 (per team) General Registration - February 1 through March 6
~ $120 (per team) On-site Registration if spots are open!

We like to do things a little different here at Sub-9... you might not have to "get it"... you just have to come out and DO IT! hahaha.

Oh - and first place teams walk away with $500!

Looks like fun. Judging by the 2nd pic, can be done on a cross bike. What's the course like: single track, fire roads? Using pics as proof are a clever idea.

The course is mostly gravel forest roads, some unmaintained county roads and some pavement. Most folks use a cross bike, some mountain bike and of course there's always the singlespeeders and tandems!

With more cemeteries added to the list, this year's event is anyone's game! We're offering $500 to the first place teams in Men's, Women's, Co-ed and Tandem categories. (Must have a minimum of 5 entries in a division for cash payout)

Any idea on where we can see the results from yesterday? This was an awesome race! Already looking forward to next year...
