Where to get an Evil sovereign derailleur hanger?

So the seller wasn't quite honest on the condition of the bike, and bending my hanger back into shape isn't going as well as I'd like.

Before I lose more hair over this, does anyone know where I could get a Sovereign (or Sovereign compatible) derailleur hanger?

    (Evil bikes is incommunicado).

    Thanks.

    looking for a hanger

Thanks, but unfortunately I'm looking for the hanger that attaches to the sliding dropouts.

I appreciate the attempt though - I'd looked for hangers at chain reaction, but hadn't found the dropouts - good to know.

I bent the hanger most of the way back, but it doesn't look like it's ever going to be quite right - finding a new one would be huge.

    e13

No, but that's an excellent idea.

I'll repost if I have any luck.

e13 doesn't have any more Evil stock

"...we shipped out all of our old stock to the new Evil bikes." is the word from from e13.

The rep suggested I keep on trying to contact Evil.

I think I've wasted enough time hoping for customer service from Evil. I'm going to have a machine shop fab a couple up. Is anyone else interested?

As a side note, the customer service from e13 was immediate and thorough. I will definitely buy from e13 again.

    Dude, it's Sea Otter week.

Those guys are absolutely SLAMMED right now. I'm sure if you call next week, you'll get a replacement hanger no problemo.

Try not to lose any more sleep/hair over this...

Replacement Sovereign hangers are currently in production with a vendor in Canada. When Gabe returns from Sea Otter he should have an update. Please email us your contact info and I can arrange something for you as a stop gap if you are in the US or Canada.

    thanks ska todd!

That sounds great! I'll email my info.

Glad to hear that Evil will continue to support the older bikes.

Rb - I'd been trying unsuccessfully for more than a month to get a hold of Evil by phone and by email, and I let my frustration get a little out of hand. The losing hair was a joke - I'm already bald.

    Evil customer service

Despite Sea Otter, Evil comes through with some VERY solid CS.

    Thank you ska todd!

    Good call Rb.

    Derailleur hangers!!!

FYI: Evil bikes is getting replacement hangers in from their manufacturer in the very near future, including Evil Sovereign hangers for the older bikes.

They might be a little difficult to get a hold of, but I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service and support.

Need Sovereign hanger asap for 5 Boros ride in NYC

My local shop, JRA in Medford, MA (Adam or Brian) is trying to get a hanger for my Evil Sovereign. I want to ride it next week for the Five Boros ride in NYC on May 3, 2009, so I need to convert by beloved singlespeed to a geared monster!

Anyway we can get a hanger out ASAP????
    Thanks

I'm also looking for one for mine and this seems to be the place to post about it. Any help would be appreciated.
