What is the deal with Versus?

Anyone know what the deal with Versus is? I actually got to go to Interbike this year and was dissapointed that they were not there. I thought they would be there showing off the Valor and the new Blitz.

Blitz two is my favorite bike in the stable. The Valor is supposed to ride like a shorter travel blitz and weigh around 4 pounds less. Herb at Versus described it as a "Blitz light".

Interbike is very expensive to have a booth at so they probably just decided to save the $$ and stay home. Plenty of others did the same thing.

Independents have more of a struggle to hang onto there floor spot at events like Ibike, as others said it's expensive. You kinda rent a spot on the floor by the year, about 2 months after the event they are calling for your renewal for the next year, you have motel rooms, food and living expenses, transportation, booth etc. your looking at $10,000 or more for the week.
