    hardtail freeride/dj bike

    Hi all,
i am building a hardtail bike for freeride, north shore and a bit of dirt jumping. I decided on a dmr exalt frame because it was in m budget and did what i need. I am also considering getting some marzoochi drop offs. Is this a good fork for a ht freeride bike? I am also contemplating some halo s.a.s wheels but have heard they are heavy. Are there any other rims of similar strength and price? If anyone has any suggestions to do with complete wheels or longish travel forks, it would help.

good choice on a frame...i'm currently on a trailstar Lt and loving it

as for a fork i would look at the Z1 series for only a slight increase in price you get a thru axle and better internals...and you may also be able to find them on clearance over the next few months

    hope that helps

DMR (not related to the company in any way other and riding one of there fine products)
