    Evil DOC with a Fox 36?

    busted my frame last week, and i'm jonsin to get back on the road. i can pick up an Evil DOC at a very reasonable price and build it up with my current kit.

    so whatcha think, would this thing suck arse with a fox 36?

    The Fox 36 has what 6 inches of travel? I think the DOC was designed for 3-4 inch travel forks. I've got a Manitou GL2 80mm on mine, unfortunatley I'm still waiting (going on two months now) for the wheelset so I can't tell you how it rides yet. Most of them I've seen are setup similar to mine though.

    I was just looking at the D.O.C geometry at Evil's website and I think a tall fork would make the bike seriously high. The BB is at 13" with 26" wheels and a Sherman Jumper 80 mm.

    That geometry looks good for short forks.

    Just saw a discussion on the D.O.C, elsewhere, and people though that the sizing is unusual, compared with most other brands: like a 5' 7" guy who thought a Regular was too small and the Long was just about right for jumping.

    Comments anybody?
