    9-to-10mm Rear Hub Adapter...

Hi, I've got a bit of a problem here. I plan on ordering the Preston FR 2007 frame from Transition and I think my rear hub won't fit. Its the Velocity ATB Disc Hub Rear Shimano Disc (36 Holes) 135mm. Now, I think its at the standard size of 9mm, since I took a rear hub QR from my former Hardrock and it fits perfectly....so thing is, the Preston accepts 10mm at the rear and I've got a 9mm....so, is there any adapter or do I have to replace that hub with a 10mm hub?

I don't think it matters whether your hub has a 9 or 10 mm axle. I interchange 10 mm XTs and 9mm Deores on my standard dropout frame without problem. I believe standard dropouts, such as those on your Preston, are designed to accept either.
