    66rc2x on a Preston?

Want to put a 66rc2x on my '05 Preston , which I run in 4" mode, but a little worried about tweaking the geo too much. Currently have a Van 36 on there but don't like it cause keep bottoming on bigger hits (have the x-firm spring in there and BO adjust maxed). 66 is a little taller than 36 but I think the bike will kill with the 66. Want to keep it coil so no 66sl. Anyone running their Preston with a 66? Thanks

I run mine with the 66 SL and a buddy has a RCX2 on his. I usually run mine around 150mm and can't really tell a difference between mine and my friends. The cockpit spec is essentially the same on the two bikes and I would say the ride difference is negligible whether running 150 or 170mm up front.
