    Major make over in the works...I know, I know that I just finish building my Eon not to long ago...and yes it handle awesome but for the type of riding I am doing with this bike I needed it to be a whole lot lighter...so I decided to lighten up my Huckster with all my new parts from this build well just the cranks, wheelset, bars and post...which brought my huckster for 47.55lb to a respectable 42.75lb...drum roll please...

    New Eon Build will be:

    Frame = Astrix Eon
    Fork = 07 Marzocchi All Mountain SL ATA 120-160mm
    Handlebar = Truvativ Team Carbon 31.8 1.5in rise
    Headset = S3
    Grips = Rogue lock-on
    Brakes = Juicy 7 203mm front 160mm rear
    Crank = Truvativ Stylo Team Carbon 170mm
    Shifters = X.O
    Front Derailleur = X.7
    Rear Derailleur = X.O 2007 medium cage
    Cassette = Sram PG990 11-32
    Chain = SRAM 991
    Wheelsets = Mavic CrossMax SX
    Tires = Michelin XCR X-Trem UST 2.2
    Pedals = ?
    Seat = Fizik Pave Ti
    Seatpost = Truvativ Team Carbon
    Stem = Truvativ Team 90mm
    HandleBars = FSA DH Carbon 40mm rise

    Hmmmmm that should do the trick.

    Very nice build spec!
    Mine will be quite similar. And hopefully built before the summer is over. I recently opened my own bike shop after leaving my previous shop after 4 years which has slowed down my ability to build my own bikes. However, just about every thing is squared away now so I should be able to start the build.

    Here's my new spec list VERY similar to yours:
    '07 All Mountain 1 SL(sitting in the box at the shop waiting to be installed)
    Thomson 4x stem(at the shop awaiting the build)
    Sunline V1 All mountain or Chris King(red) headset
    Sunline V1 carbon bars
    WTB Devo saddle Ti railed(we got a bundle of WTB test ride saddles and the DEVO is NICE!)
    Thomson seatpost
    FSA or Truvativ Carbon cranks
    XT front derailleur
    Full Sram XO shifting otherwise
    Chris King Hubs(red)
    DT Swiss Aerolite spokes w/red anodized alloy nipples
    WTB Laserdisc rims
    Sram PC990 Cassette(red body)
    KMC k10SL chain
    Crank Bro's Mallet 2 pedals(red)
    Not sure on tires yet

    Post up when your bike is complete! Let's see the new Huckster as well!

    Sweet build. I'd flip the tires around. They'll work much better. I know some of the Michelin tires like the AT24/16's have the molds reversed and the arrows face the wrong direction. Michelin says it's too expensive to modify the molds.

    Those old ASX bikes were great... too bad they dont make them anymore... lols

    Why close the gap between your Eon and your Huckster though? Seems like the ASX would be too similar to the Huckster no?
