    Wojcik Executive Garage Find

Sometimes my dilligent craigslist hunting pays off with something neat like NOS tubulars, Cook Bros crank, and finally, a complete bike.

It's a Wojcik Executive commuter bike. I took off the tubus racks and chainguard to get everything clean and change the cables. It has a crappy toptube aftermarket cable routing, but has stops on the downtube and chainstay for full length cables, so I'm going to try and see if I can make it work with the 3 speed internal hub. I took off the Brooks saddle that was beat and replaced it with a San Marco Concors Sugerleggra. Other than some scratches from being leaned against walls and cable rub, it looks great. I need to get some replacement stickers, they are peeling and are a very faint gold lettering, so unless you look closely, you can't even see the name.

It's way too small for me, but too good of a deal to pass up. Maybe I'll surprise my girlfriend or see if someone has something bigger to trade. I'm also thinking of making it a 'scorcher style' bike--it has horizontal dropouts and canti studs.

Cool. Turn it into a single-speed cyclocross bike!

Any idea on when the model was originally made, or a little history on it? I found a mention in a dirt rag article but thats about it. It was originally purchased at Naults in Manchester, I'm guessing 3 or 4 years ago.
