Thanks, I love this thing! I'll probably beef up the front end with a oversize stem and bar when I have the funds. The bars are 24", is that too narrow? My shoulders are about 22".
Now with shorter 50 mm stem, wider bars and better brakes. I also put on some wider tires. A 2.4 Rubber Queen and a 2.25 Fat Albert, I like the combo for the terrain around Phoenix, I don't wash out much anymore.
Just wanted to show some pics. New grips BTW and wonder why I waited so long to replace the old ones. Much better Lizard skins. Had WTB that were really thin. Gotta love an RX. Wishing for an FTM or El-Guapo. But ain't we all.
I came from a Marin Quad XC, and the Motolite blows it away! I'm glad I made the switch.

I Love my bike!!!
Man I've been contemplating the switch from the stock rp23hv to roco tst air ! I'm just afraid the $300 swap isn't gonna be $300 the difference. What's your experience?
I wanted it to be more DH spec'd so the parts are a bit on the heavy side, but the fork really isn't that bad with the titanium spring. All in all it is just under 36 pounds. It pedals up really well... but I buy bikes to go down
Yeah it Crankmeister would make more sense... but this is how I've had it for many years... so that is how it is... nobody takes it on other sites that way
   I just installed this Roco Air TST R!   Straight out of the box and down my steps, the Roco air feels amazing! Makes me wanna chuck the crap foxrp23hvwhatever! Too bad Titus didn't spec the Guap with a worthy air shock. Just squishing around on the pavement, the compression in the rear feels like a 6in bike should....----OOOOH I can't wait to hit the trails! I'll post more well-lit photo later!
I've been using this winter as an opportunity to shower my Motolite with gifts. The biggest upgrades were wheels (Cobalt) and drivetrain (X9). I also thought I'd give 11-34t cassettes a try.
Here is the current set-up:
Rider: 6'2", 180lbs with gear Riding Style: Trail, XC
2007 Titus Motolite II (black, large)
Weight - 29.4 lbs Shock: Fox RP23 XV Air Can, Pushed Wheels: Crank Brothers Cobalt Tires: Front - Kenda Nevegal 2.35 DTC Rear - Kenda Dred Tread 2.1 UST (not running tubless) Crankset: Shimano FC-M442, 22-32, 32t BBG bashguard (2x9 setup) Shifters: Sram X9 Front D: Shimano SLX FD-M665 (double) Rear D: Sram X9, Med Cage Cassette: Sram PG980 11-34t Brakes: Shimano Deore BR-M486, XT RT76 180mm rotors Fork: 2010 RockShox Recon Race Solo Air 120mm travel (w/PopLoc) Pedals: Crank Brothers Candy C Headset: Cane Creek S2 Handlbars: Crank Brothers Cobalt 3, 15mm rise, 700mm wide Stem: TruVativ AKA 80mm Seatpost: TruVativ Hussefelt 25mm offset Seat: WTB Silverado Grips: ODI Ruffian Lock-On Bashguard: BBG 32t
Unless my wife pulls the financial plug, additional future upgrades will include brakes (debating between XT, SLX, and Formula RX), crank (XT or SLX), perhaps tires (Nobby Nics?), and QR15 fork (Fox F120).

Great bike.... Love the wheels. I have a set of XT brakes and love them but I would recomend the Hygia Elites over the XT's. They are cheaper, lighter and just as easy to use, not to mention stop you just as well adn use the same pads. They come in many great colors to. Check them out. I think you can only get them off ebay. I really like mine.

Looks great! Very nice color coordination. Did you have to get those fork decals special order?
