    Serial Numbers

Do Chumba's have serial numbers on their frames, and if so, where is it located?

Was reading this over at STR:

I bought an XCL prototype with no serial number, unfortunately.
I have a Honda Element, and just keep the bike in there 24/7.
Thanks for the heads up, great story. It's always nice when the good guys win.
As far as I know, almost all bikes have the serial # on the bottom bracket shell.

I would also take photos of the BB area. I've seen some mass cases of theft where the PD asks that you show proof, that could even be a picture of you with the bike. The serial number is good, also a pic of the serial number is better, and at least one shot of the bike and you.
