That's really nice. Did you have it painted over the original color? It looks to have a bit of that tint to it, or it could just be the angle.

What kind of paint and who did it?

Hi JC, I had the old powder coat paint scraped-off to expose the aluminum and then used Anzahl acrylic paint in the same shade as the Industry nine pewter hubs. I'm from the Philippines and it was done by my Car Painter. It has a nice sheen to it. The CHUMBA decal is also painted on after stenciling with craft paper and then spraying a clear coat over the entire paint finish. The top tube already has bathtub tape on the upper part to avoid scratches. Took this picture this afternoon after the morning ride.

    Cost about 80 US dollars.

    Glad you like it.

Thanks guys. The color is really nice and subtle. Bike rides really sweet too. Labor isn't expensive here hence the good price.

That does look good! I originally wanted the raspberry color, but there were no smalls soI got stuck in the Ano Grey club....which thanks to the amount of truck shuttling I do is now an anoy grey/polished finish. I've worn a big patch of the finish off the underside of the downtube and have some serious scratches on the top tube....my bike is more like a dalmation now...ah well, it's better than pedalling up the Mountain!

jaclyn - if the finish is getting worn that means you have a great excuse to get it painted a new color! =)

Or do what I do: use it as an excuse to get a new frame. Haha.

Yeah a new frame would be nice I'd like and EVO, but they don't come small enough for my liking. So any new frame is likely going to be a Transition Syren or a Norco Vixa. Chumba needs to make a girl FR bike...in pink...or Zebra

I believe they will custom make one to your size, would be worth asking at least.
