    Sette Derro

    Hi

I now have a new Derro as my flite broke and was replaced under warranty with the Derro. Thanks to PricePoint for fast and good customer service, I was only without a ride for 3 weeks. I live in Iceland so this is not sarcasm.

Here is a video from a tour of 8 people from Landmannalaugar to Thorsmork kalled Laugavegurinn. You can see my Derro on min 2 sec 30 ridden by a friend of mine. I am on my other bike for this tour.

vimeo.com/48407338 Highlight the link and search for it in Google as I cant post links here?

I just ran into the same issue, my Flite is on it's way back to Pricepoint now. Did all of your parts swap over?, mostly I am concerned with the Domain fork being too much travel for that frame causing the geometry to be off.

All parts swap over except for the domain. You might be able to find a kit that lowers the domain but I opted to sell it and get the rock shox xc30 as it is about 1kg lighter than the domain and came with a free head set at the time. I also got the x9 front hub as the fork has 9mm dropouts. My locka bike shop did rebuild the front wheel for about 15 usd.

Can I cross post a picture that I already put up in the Passion forum? It's my rigid Razzo build, from a batch of parts I already had, plus some I had to buy for it. First dive into 29ers, and I have to say it's a blast.

I just bought a Razzo Carbon 29er frame off Craigslist around Christmas and swapped out the frame of my heavily modified Airborne Goblin.

Weighed in at 24lbs 8oz as pictured w/out the seat bag. I think it looks super badass.

Checking in. Nice to see so many happy Sette owners...

Most exciting news, scored a new, old stock Phantom frame! Going to build my first bike frame up, already have everything ordered but the crank and shifters. Once its done I will update. At this point it is going to be static with 1.5" slick tires for light XC and commuting.... If I dont line it I will swap gear over from the hardtail or FS.

The short time we had a clean garage, 3 for me one for her.

Upgraded the Primo wheels from R500 to Boyd's, 500g savings.

I've always been a steel guy at heart, but I picked up a Razzo SC frame off ebay earlier this summer. I've ridden carbon before (and since), and been pretty underwhelmed, but the Razzo really delivers: smooth and lively like a good steel frame when under power, but a solid, sure front end when it's pointed through a rock garden, and a nice light feeling all the time.

This was from this morning's ride, enjoying some of the early fall colors here:

Earlier when I had it set up as a single speed:
