I know it's an old Raleigh M-something, especially with the canti brakes. But it's cheap and appears in OK shape from the ad.
I might grab this for an interim step-up before he gets his first "real" small adult bike with good parts. Or if it's an aluminum frame, it might just be the foundation for that bike. I have an old Marzocchi in the garage waiting for a home.
He has a tank-ass Specialized HotRock 24 now that will go to his sister for a couple of years until it's her turn for a thread like this.
